Shanta, I guess it sounds like I started my answer in the middle of a sentence. The Mormon Church maintains a very large genealogical research library in Salt Lake City. In order to help people access their holdings they also have branches of this library which are called Family History Centers. If you go to the familysearch.org web site you will be able to find if there is a center near you. If so, you will find a very helpful staff to aid you in your search. They should help you get your search off on the best foot by giving you great tips on "how to" do your seaching. If they have the microfilms you need, you can use them for no charge. You can also order rolls of film for a small fee. You can also access this familysearch.org web site, where you can access many records, for no charge. Hope I have given you a better explanation.
