I remember going there as a child. There is a pavilion where Presbyterian church services were often held. There is a historic marker there about Indian battles? I think. The Algoma Presbyterian church had homecomings there. I believe they are connected in some way. My father Curtis Walker was a photographer in Algoma. He took a picture of the marker when it was put up in around 1950. I was 5 ? years old, and was standing by it. It was in the Pontotoc Progress. I remember a lot of "historians" being there. I t is not far from the "Algoma Road" which turns west off Highway 15. By the way, does anyone happen to have pictures that Daddy made? Our home was destroyed by fire in 1959---I wonder if anyone might have pictures of us. I am Martha Jean Walker Knight, and my sister is Diane Walker Spears. Thank you. --WebTV-Mail-5074-1270--
