I am resending this from yesterday as I did not recieve a missive on my end and fear it was released into the netherworld. I had to re-subscribe to Pontotoc-L. If the list is getting double messages from me, please let me know. Hello-All, I am just starting on WINDHAM research and I am not even sure of a relation except by word of mouth. I was told of an OWEN-PANNELL-WINDHAM connection in Pontotoc Co., MS specifically the Ecru area. I was told the WINDHAM relative was a judge. I have a listing of "Dr. and Mrs. J.H. WINDHAM" in my father's baby book from 1925. I have found in the 1920 Pontotoc Co., MS Census (Other townships, beat 98) a listing I believe is the JH WINDHAM I seek. James H. WINDHAM---head-----44yrs----physician Winona? M.?--------------wife-------45yrs Montye M.?----------------dau--------19yrs Cora L.?---------------------dau---------14yrs Leone? C.-------------------son--------11yrs I am wondering if Montye WINDHAM is the "Montye" that married my grandmother's brother Walter J. OWEN (son of Hardiman Bracket OWEN). I have pictures of my grandmother (who was also born in 1900) and "Aunt Montye" (OWEN) with my father as a baby. Montye and Walter OWEN had James OWEN and Keith OWEN. I was also told that Walter J. OWEN owned a dry-goods store. If anyone can shed light as to the relations I would be appreciative. Thank-you,Patricia Walker Lyon WALKER-OWEN-HARTLEY-PANNELL........
