I have a copy of a Deed from Andrew J. Hanks to my great, great grandfather, Randolph JOHNSON, from November 1850. If I copy the wording about the location, would anybody on this list be able to tell me what cemetery they think it's talking about?? Here is what it says: "Know all men by these presents that I, Andrew J. Hanks, for and in consideration of the sum of Eight Hundred Dollars to me paid by Randolph Johnson the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold and do hereby bargain sell and convey unto said Randolph Johnson the following described tract of land lying and situated in Pontotoc County State of Mississippi to wit the east half of the North east quarter and the East half of the South east quarter of Section Twenty One in Township ten of Range four East containing one hundred and sixty acres more or less according to the surveys with the exception of one and thirteen sixteenths of an acre which was appropriated to the Baptist Church and for a burying ground to have and to hold the said granted land to the said Randolph Johnson his heirs and assigns in fee simple forever and I do hereby warrant and agree to defend the title to said land to the said Randolph Johnson his heirs and assigns against the legal clai! ms or demands of all other powers whatsoever."
