Married to MARGARET CATHERINE MOSELY (1833-1912). Father of MARGARET ESTHER 'PINKIE" BELL ROBERSON (1858-1942). ROBERSON HOTEL - sold in the 1920s (?) and later burned so I've been told.     3. I am searching for the descendants of Solomon Watts (son of Garret Zachariahs Watts and Anna Self <or Selph>). I descend from Mary Elizabeth Watts (or Elizabeth Mary Watts) born about 1838 in MS and found on the 1850 Pontotoc Co., Ms census with her father's HH and on the 1860 Pontotoc census as a newlywed married to John W. Walker. I am also searching for ancestors of John W. Walker. John Walker and his wife M.E. or E.M. had at least 3 children : 1) William Franklin Walker (b. 1861 in Ms and d. 1911 in Pontotoc Co.)--my ancestor 2)Emma L. Walker (b.1862 d. 1906 ) and married to J.C. Gregory 3)John Samuel Walker (b. 1863 or 1864 and d. 1908) mar. to Belle McWhirter in 1891 in Pontotoc Co., Ms. I am also interested in the McWhirter family as it seems to run through my paternal side. James M Worthy was born 1857 in TN, but his father apparently died before he was born, mother remarried and then died that same year so he and at least his youngest sister went to live with grandparents Jeremiah and Elizabeth Perry in Pontotoc Co MS. He's with them on the 1860 census. Would like to learn what part of TN he was born in and whether or not he remained in Pontotoc Co MS or moved elsewhere.

    3. Hi List---I believe I have found my grgrgrandfather. I only recently found out (after finding my parent's research from the 1970's) that my Walker was married to Elizabeth WATTS. I found in the Pontotoc Co., MS Marriages on genweb a marriage between----John W. WALKER and Elizabeth WATTS on 1/19/1860. Then the 1860 Pontotoc census lists a Walker couple, John 23 and Elizabeth 22, in the same HH and alone with no children. My grgrandfather William Franklin WALKER was born a year later. I have John and Elizabeth's other children if anyone is interested. Can any more of you claim John WALKER and/or Elizabeth WATTS- WALKER? If so, Please let me know. Patricia Walker Lyon
