I just returned from the Adams Family Reunion in Macon and homecoming at the Salem Methodist Church. I was also in Macon to do some genealogy research on the Adams, Garner and Thomas families. I remember seeing the Featherston(e) family living adjacent to my Abram/Abraham Adams family in Salem in one of the early censuses but can't remember whether it was 1850 or 1860. Certainly they have been in Noxubee since its early days. I was even staying with a cousin who lives on Featherston Court. Good luck with your search.
