Annette: Relax, no one sent you a virus via a Rootsweb list, and you did not send anyone on the list a virus; however, it may have gone to all on your e-mail directory. One technique to prevent sending to all is to get rid of Microsoft Outlook, as it is a target of lots of virus writers, and use something not so common, but good, such as Eudora. It has a free version. the best protection is a good virus software, there are many; (1) set the software to scan automatically all incoming documents, (2) and update it monthly, and (3) back up your files (keep backup in different building). don't let the creepy virus writers get you down! j John F.
