    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Bell, Doss Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/QKB.2ACI/402.2 Message Board Post: You just made my day! Connecting Teag and Joshua to Adelaide Bell is important to me! I have been trying to connect my ancestor Tyre Charles Bell with Tyre and Adelaide Bell of Noxubee. I have had mostly anecdotal evidence. The only hard evidence was the 1860 Noxubee County census which listed TC Bell in the family of Mrs. AA Bell. But even that record was not clear that it was "TC" Bell, or that he was a son or grandson. Among the anecdotal evidence was that my grandmother said TC had brothers named Josh and Teag. From the court information you listed, obviously Teag was a sister, not a brother. She was not listed in the 1860 census because she was 'of age' and probably not living in the home. I would be very interested to learn who Teag married. She might have immigrated to Texas with Joshua and TC. TC was in Kaufman Co, TX (a noted confederate county) by 1873 when he was married to Sina Frances "Fannie" Doss, who had also moved to TX with her family from Noxubee Co, MS. Her parents were David Thaddeus Doss and Mary Jane Stewart Doss. TC and Fannie apparently went back to MS for a few years, since their first children were born there. My Great-Grandmother Minnie Bell was born 20 Jan 1878 in Jackson, Hinds co, MS. Then they returned to TX. TC and Fannie eventually lived in Freedonia, Mason Co, Tx, at the time of the 1900 census. By 1906 they lived in San Angelo, Tom Green Co, TX. TC died there circa 1914-1916, Fannie in 1942.
