In checking a 4 county phone book, I did find Jefferson's still living in Neshoba and Winston Counties. I suggest that you write the Circuit Clerk, Noxubee County, 505 S. Jefferson St., Macon, Ms. 39341 to check marriage records for you, since you know the exact date. Also, you might check into the web sites of Kemper, Winston and Neshoba Counties, which you can do from the Noxubee site. Kemper has 1837, 1840 and 1850 census, patents, enumeration of Educable children 1890 and 1896, personal family web sites, cemetery records, etc. and you can put in a name and it will give you sites that might include that name.
