Estate papers for Micajah Thomas state that his "father in law" Alford Calloway filed for administration papers. So, I assumed this was Ann Thomas' maiden name. However, the estate papers for Micajah's wife, Ann M. Thomas, state that her "father", John Douglass Dailey, was administrator. Could "father in law" mean stepfather? Looking for information on this family. Thanks!
