Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/QKB.2ACI/162.1.1 Message Board Post: Military record shows W.E. Lee died 16 Jun 1862 in Macon, MS (fever). Is there a cemetery where these men would have been buried? I went through a book put out by the Historical Society on cemeteries in Noxubee Co, MS, but did not see him listed, nor a cemetery shown as burial ground for Civil War soldiers, particularly Confederates. W.E. Lee, pvt, 3 Cav TX, Co H. (nickname South Kansas Texas Reg't Mtd Vols.), enlisted Crawford Co, AR.
