    3. William, The National Park Service has a site of soldier records at: www.itd.nps.gov/cwss Select Regiments from the home page. You'll then enter the info on the regiment in the search boxes. A history of the regiment will then appear with two options below for viewing the rosters. Or you can select Soldiers on the home page, enter the information to search on, and get information on specific soldiers. The information was taken from the original General Index Cards. There are many records in this database, but I don't believe all of the regiments are online yet. Unfortunately, I don't remember how I got that information. I know I found on the internet because that was the only method I had used up until then. I know that one of them, George Sudberry, is listed on the Confederate Memorial in Macon and the other one, James M. (or J.M.) served as some type of officer. Now that I am double checking my accuracy, I need that information. Any of you have any ideas on how to search for this info short of check the actual records? > > Thanks > Laura Edgerton > laura-billy@msn.com > >
