Her grandparents, William Henry and Effa Winlock Hughey Eichelberger moved their large family (they had a total of 14 children) to Noxubee County from Newberry County, SC. While its true that some of them moved on, many of them lived and died and are buried in Noxubee County. They are: William Henry Eichelberger (b. 24 Sep 1817, Pomaria, SC-d. 13 Apr 1897, buried Mashoulaville Cem, Noxubee Co) Effa Winlock Hughey (b. 25 Apr 1825, Pomaria, SC-d. 12 Aug 1906, buried Mashoulaville Cem, Noxubee Co) Emmaline O. Eichelberger (b. 23 Dec 1846, Pomaria, SC-d. between 1870 and 1875, buried Ruff Cem, Noxubee Co)She was married to J. L. Harper Strait Mary Louise Eichelberger (b. 6 Jan 1850, Pomaria, SC-d. 1927, buried Mashoulaville Cem, Noxubee Co) Frances Willie A. Eichelberger (b. 1 May 1851, Pomaria, SC-d. 1937, buried Mashoulaville Cem, Noxubee Co) Augusta Hughey Eichelberger (b. 20 May 1854, Pomaria, SC-d. 11 Feb 1930, buried Mashoulaville Cem, Noxubee Co) She was married to Elisha Quitman Richards George Daniel Eichelberger (b. 20 May 1855, Mashoulaville, MS-d. 11 Apr 1906, buried Mashoulaville Cem, Noxubee Co) He was married to Fletcher Ann Knox Philander W. "Philey" Eichelberger (b. 23 Jan 1860, Winston County, MS-d. 13 Nov 1904, buried Macon Odd Fellows Cem, Macon, Noxubee Co) He was married to Hulda M. "Huldy" Richards Callie M. Eichelberger (b. About 1865, Winston County, MS-d. ?, buried Macon Odd Fellows Cem, Macon, Noxubee Co) She married to a McAdams These are just the ones I know of who are buried in Noxubee County. Some of the siblings moved to Texas and other states. My family lived in neighboring Lowndes Co and my grandfather, John Albert Eichelberger and my mother are both buried in Friendship Cemetery in Columbus.
