A son of this couple, Joseph Frederick Barnes, served in the CSA, married Della Robbins and moved to TX. Looking for any information on these families.
Last year, I ordered some Noxubee Co. films from the FHC. I noticed the messages lately on the Barnes and Robbins family, and thought I should post this bit that I found in case it would be of use. I was trying to figure out if any of the BRIDGES / BRIDGERS families in Noxubee Co. were related to my Mary BRIDGERS who md. Ahijah ATKINSON in Franklin Co.,NC in 1824 and then moved to Noxubee Co. MS and finally to AR. Here's the piece of information that I found that may be of interest to Barnes or Robbins researchers... ================ >From Noxubee Co. MS Court Minutes vol.
