Surnames: Fullilove, King, Law, Laws, Taylor, Greer, Wade, Bryant, Bryan Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/QKB.2ACI/396 Message Board Post: Hi! I'm researching the above surnames from Oglethorpe co.,GA>Autauga Co.,AL>Carroll co.,MS. Just by chance I found 2 Fulliloves in the 1840 & 1850 Nox. census. I wandered onto the web page & saw the Greer name. Well that's a Fullilove name too! Lucy Greer married 1803 to John Tatum Fullilove. His son Thomas married Mary Adeline Taylor in AL & they moved on to Carroll co.,MS. Another son David Fullilove was in the 1850 Noxubee census but later also moved on to Carroll Co. I don't know who the Jas. C. Fullilove in the 1840 census is, yet. It's rather complicated but Mary Adeline Taylor was her husbands cousin, as her parents were John Fullilove Taylor & Sally Arnold. John Fullilove Taylor's parents were Benjamin Taylor & Susannah Fullilove. All these families are very tangled! Sally Arnold married William King in 1837 after her husband died. I believe my ancestor was their daughter Anna b. 1838 AL. To make matters worse I'm looking for the parents of 3 orphan Laws children whose mother supposedly was Ann Taylor/King . Somehow the Law family of Oglethorpe Co.,Ga fits in here. I know the family of Lott Laws was in Lowndes Co.,MS & a John Law was on the 1860 slave schedule for Noxubee but I can't find him on the regular census. by 1870 my 3 were orphans & the scattered amongst relatives (Taylors, Fulliloves, Wade, Bryan(t) ) thanks for any insight or clues!!
