Well, I just found that the link on our pages does not work to reach the 1860 census at the USGENWEB census project. To the rescue: Noxubee county archives!! A big thanks to "Sue", who is in charge of the Archives for Mississippi GenWeb for the URL that will give us that census. http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/ms/noxubee/census/1860/ I will get that link fixed "pronto"........ If the US mail doesn't get drowned, I hear that one of our dear friends in Macon is sending me the 1845 State census for Noxubee county......oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. There is also a chance we may get two African American cemetery records...but this hasn't been "firmed up" as of yet. If you have transcribed records for the county and would like to share, please consider sending them for us to use on our pages, also to post on the archives pages???? With all this "changing of the rules and ownership" of various sites, we feel by posting also to our archives, we will "have it available" regardless to what happens?
