The ONLY info we have on Tom Glass is: our ancestor James J Monroe, a lawyer, and a widower in Newton Co MS, married a Mrs. Glass, who had a son Tom when he married her,in 1862. These are the only words we have. The 12 children of James Monroe and his first wife, and the son of James and Mrs. Glass Monroe, came to TX in 1872 without Tom.
