    3. I'm curious about the Hunter family connection because my grandfather was Edward Lawrence Hunter who married Nettie Mary Beavers Dew (called Mamie). Mamie's mother was Mary Jane Glass/Dew (called Mollie) who married John Hinah Dew in Noxubee County, Mississippi in the 1870s. Later the Dews moved to Texas where the Hunters were already living. Hunter is sort of a common name, but I think Joseph Love Hunter (father of Edward Lawrence Hunter) came to Texas from Arkansas, but I'm not sure. Rosemary Grant
