Joshua enlisted with the 41st Infantry regiment, Company D (Noxubee Guards) in 1861. Moved to Texas about 1870...any help would be appreciated. He served with an A.W.Bell in the civil war and it appears that A.W. came to Texas with them. He was a witness for Nancy Jane's pension application.
