Lovick and Jerome served in the Civil War, and according to family tradition after the War the boys "went West and became outlaws". Lovick married in Sedgewick County Kansas to Charlotte Packard and had two sons. Letters written to the sons in the 1870's regarding their father's estate were returned from the dead letter boxes in Silver City, New Mexico. Money was sent to Charlotte Beall according to instructions from her husband.

This couple went to Texas where Peterson C. (called P.C.) obtained a Republic of Texas land grant. Family data says that Mary Ann was named Grady, not Gracy and that she had a brother named Daniel, who came to Texas with them, This is supported by documents regarding petitions for land in which P.C. swore before a judge that his name was spelled Beall and not Bell. Would like the parents of P.C. and Mary Ann and any other data. I also have data on the Barnes, Vaughan, Mullis, and Griffin families. Please contact me direct via email as I have a lot of data.

Dr. W. Ben Ward m. Abyssina "Simmie" Keelin Potts. They had a daughter named Annie Thomas Ward. This Potts line is tightly coupled with the Colberts who married into the Haynes line. The Thomas middle name had to come from somewhere and it wasn't the Potts line, so I wondered if there was a Thomas Ward connection.

I know there was a William Bird in Noxubee that married Rosa Davidson. They are listed in the 1860 census. According to the grandson of Rosa's sister, Martha Stuart Davidson Woodfin, Rosa and William died right after the war. They had three children. Two went to live with a man by the surname Nunn (Major Nunn?), and the third went to live with Martha Davidson Woodfin. I don't have any other information on William Bird. Hope this helps some.
