Hi Gloria, Think you have found a cousin. I descend from a few of the Newton County families which include Sharp, McGee, Beeman, White, Johnson, Adams, and Woodward. My Grandmother, Lucinda Beeman married (1) Jackson Brand c. 1888 (2) Benjamin Franklin Sharp 1901 Lauderdale Co., MS. Lucinda was the daughter of James Ivy Beeman and Savannah Woodward. Savannah was the daughter of John Aaron Woodward and Mary Rebecca Johnson, thus Savannah and your Mary Rebecca were sisters. Benjamin Franklin Sharp was the son of John William Henry Sharp and Arpy Elender McGee. Arpy was the daughter of Elder Williamson Jenkins McGee and Emily Elizabeth White. Jackson Brand was the son of William Henry and Elizabeth Brand, and the grandson of Zacariah and Levisa Harris Brand. Jackson died c 1900 in Newton Co., MS. Do your Pinson's come out of the Lauderdale Co., AL/Hardin Co., TN area? I have Pinson's in my Austin, Lamb, Qualls lines on my maternal side. Hope to hear from you, Louise Sharp ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gloria H.
