Martha, I agree, I grew up in Newton County, Ms, near Beulah Church, but it becomes more interesting when you start your family genealogy and realize that I had never thought much about the Marker for the Rev Soldier and his wife buried nearby. A daughter, Diana , married George Hanes Jones, (he served in the War of 1812) , their daughter , Rachel Jones married my GG Grandfather William Graham, so my life has become quite different after I started searching for ancestors. just e mail me if you like. William Johnson Revolutionary War Solder is buried in the back part of the East Cemetery of Beulah Church, there are 2 cemeteries, this one is across the road from the church. Follow State Hiway 494 east from its intersection with State Highway bypass at for 5.2 miles,Turn right on Hickory Little Rock Road, for 5.5 miles. The Cemetery establshed about 1810, has abt 457 markers. The East is about 0.1 across the road from the Church. There is a Rev Marker there There is no stone marker , but his wife ,Dianna Adams is buried next to him. Carolyn Lane

Most probley William Gipson Evans My great greatgrandfather on My mothers side according to all accounts he was remarkable person as was my grand mother Susan Caroline Evans (Callie). Both were very humble and down to earth.
