My great grandmother was Maudie Nowell b. 1887 (d/o Nicholus D. Nowell and Mary Susan Mitchell) m. (1st) Neshoba Co., Ms. 1904 to Walter Clark (s/o Andrew Jackson "Jack" Clark and Haney Savell) (2nd) Dec. 1907 Neshoba Co., Ms. Henry T. Dunn s/o George William "Bill" Richard Dunn and Emily "Emma" McCullough). Both Walter Clark and Henry Dunn are great-grandsons of Isham C. Earnest and Elizabeth Steen. Walter Clark and Maudie Nowell had one son Oscar Roberta Clark. Walter and brother Melvin were struck and killed by lightning bef. 1907. Henry T. Dunn and Maudie Nowell Clark had two sons Odis Dunn and Marshal Dunn. Marshal was my grandfather. Maudie's sister Bettie Nowell was married to Henry's brother Thomas/Lonnie Dunn who had daughters Melvinie and Tinnie Dunn. It is said that Maudie married a third time to Bud Smith. I would appreciate and treasure any further information on Maudie and sister Bettie Nowell.
