About 1855 William R., William P. and Hugh Jenkins arrived in Neshoba County, Mississippi, from Union County North Carolina. They had two more brothers and three sisters of which I have no information on. Their names were Archibald, John L, Martha, Harriet, and Queen Ann Jenkins.
