    1. [MSNESHOB] Vada Walton - my grandmother
    2. Does anyone have any listing for La Vada or Vada Walton? She was born in the Philadelphia area in the late 1800s. She had several brothers and sisters. Her father was John C. Walton. My grandmother died in Meridian in 1973. Thank you very much, Sally Hicks The earth which sustains humanity, must not be injured, it must not be destroyed. Hildegarde of Bingen

    3. Hi Julie, It is me again, Billie, You have helped me once and now I need more help. In your book on the civil war, do you have a listing for Charles McKinney "Mack" Beard, he is my grandfather. He married Elmira Jane Roberts about 1869 and I could not find their marriage lic. I was told that the courthouse burned. He was supposed to have lived in Newton County and she in Neshoba County. Also his father George R. Beard. I think George was in the Civil War. Some say that Mack Beard was not but some say he was --so if you could check for me when you have time. Also in the Red Clay book on early settlers My great grandfather should be in it. Benjamin Roberts. I have the 1850 census for him and Jane listed as his daughter but I can not find any thing on Benjamin Roberts, Who were his parents. He married Frances Searcy in Jefferson County, MS in 1823 I have that marriage Lic. Thanks Julie your are doing a great job helping all us folks. 3. Do you have any GRIFFINs and PULLINs in that book? My GRIFFIN ancestor was Daniel Boone GRIFFIN who came to Neshoba co. about 1854 with his wife, Nancy T., and a big family! Their kids were James Andrew, William "Bill", Daniel Rowan, Ira Lewis, Thomas D., John Jefferson (my greatgrandpa), Avery Cylvanus, and Martha Ann Sophronia GRIFFIN. Martha married Richmond POSEY. Two of them married ADKINS, one married a JOHNSON, one married a WATKINS. Does this help? 3. Thanks, Julie! You are so sweet! The only PULLIN I know of who was in the Civil War was Harmon PULLIN, father of Jesse, Mary Jane, and Amanda. I have a copy of his Civil War records, but thanks for offering to look up the PULLINs for me! Debi Griffin Campbell
