    3. This may be a long-shot, but you might try the Evans Memorial Library in Aberdeen. They hold the McKnight Collection of photographs from the McKnight Photography Studio that operated from the late 1800s to the 1930s. Click on the McKnight Collection under "Special Collections." http://www.tombigbee.lib.ms.us/evans/ Read the guide to the Collection on the Monroe County Genealogy site before you call them. There may have been some changes in costs, etc, over the last few years. The area code on the library's website is incorrect - it should read: .*(662) 369-4601* The Monroe County site contains a VERY partial list of names that I helped compile quite a few years ago. One thing to remember is that the name listed on the account is the name of the person who ordered and paid for the photograph and not always the person in the picture. So - if grandparents ordered a picture of their grandchildren, it will be listed under their name, but the picture will be of children. Click on "Photographs" and then the McKnight Collection. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~msmonro2/ Good luck, Robin On Mon, Nov 16, 2009 at 6:37 AM, <[email protected]> wrote: > > Thanks for your reply.
