WILLIAM DYCHE WALTON who lived from March 18, 1889, to DEC. 25, 1907, in Columbus and Aberdeen, MS {where he was buried}. I understand that he went on trial for murder after the Civil War, having served on the Confederate side for MS. Does anyone know this info? Supposedly there was an actual trial, after which he was found innocent. Does anyone know how I can obtain anything on this subject? Going to MS is out of the question right now for me. Any help on this would be appreciated deeply.
