The paper would have been called the Aberdeen News Herald then. There's a chronology of the papers on the Monroe County II MSGenWeb site at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~msmonro2/news.html. Most of the papers have been microfilmed through the US Newspaper Program and should be available at the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. There are also some old papers available in the chancery courthouse. I'm not sure if the 1906 ones is.
