Catherine Powell born Oct.1842 died 21 Dec 1879,probably buried at Cockerham Cemetery.She married in Monroe Co,Ms in the 1860's to Samuel Newton Richey born Dec.17,1842 died Feb.26.1899 in Snyder,Tx. Their children: 1.Nancy Elizabeth Richey died young 2.Henry Joseph Richey born 1865 3.Samuel Robert Richey died at age 14 4.John Hampton Richey 5.Charlie Richey died at age 7 6.Myrtle Missouri Naomi Richey Sisters married brothers: Mary Elizabeth Powell married William Franklin Richey Oct.27,1858 in Monroe Co,Ms.Both died in Freestone,Tx. Their Children: 1.Emma 2.John 3.jane 4.James 5.Catherine Does anyone know if Catherine Powell Richey has a tomb at Cockerham Cemetery in Monroe Co,Ms or not. Could she be buried elsewhere?
