Big Foot Ray's water mill is mentioned in MOTHER MONROE page 58 by Dr. Evans in his short article about Splunge, Village and Settlement. Here is what Evans says: "One of the early families was the McKinneys. One of these went across Splunge and Sipsy and joined a Ray in the firm of McKinney and Ray, owners of a store whichstod within one hundred feet of the present location of Big Foot Ray's water mill." Terry Did you send me two emails? I think I might have deleted one of them accidently while checking my email. I received the one about the Bigfoot Ray water mill mentioned in Dr Evans book and how a man named McKinney and Bigfoot Ray started a mill. If you sent a second email would you please resend it? Thanks,Ross-- Original Message ----- From: "William T.
