    3. I do not anything about the Funderbunks family but am related to Popes --at least one who would be connected to Monroe Co. My grgrgrandmother was a Pope. She was a daughter of Wm. Bennett Pope and married Jonathan Stephens. They were on 1860 census of Marion Co., AL, living near other Pope relatives. Nancy Pope/Jonathan Stephens moved on to Itawamba Co., and at least one of their children, Mark Stephens/Stevens, lived his life there. My grgrandmother was named Nancy and was listed as 1 yr.old on the 1860 census and the youngest of the 4 listed children. I feel sure she was not the last child as most families continued to grow past that number. She married Thomas Williams abt.1874 and they lived in Monroe Co., MS. Nancy Stephens Williams is buried at the Pickle Cemetery in Monroe Co. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, February 16, 2007 8:53 AM Subject: Re: [MSMONROE] MSMONROE Digest, Vol 2, Issue 10 > Jim Allen, > > I certainly will share anything I have- haven't looked at Funderburks in a > while and not that organized.
