Gracie or anyone with a copy of the Monroe County History Book, Are there any Nix/Nicks or Funderburk/Funderburgs listed? Thank you so very much. Mary Marquis
Mary, I have some Funderburks in my line. See my website at the URL below. Select the surname index in the left column. Selecting the Document Index in the left column will take you to a list of site documents. The last entry is a list of deceased Monroe County citizens and the cemetery in which they are buried. There are several Funderburks and at least one Funderburg listed. Wayne E. Hey Wayne, My mother Margaret Evelyne Rogers McCracken is relative of a Cora Easter. Mother's parents were Hugh Otto Rogers and Nellie Lucille Todd. Hugh was the son of Burnel Harvey Rogers (BH Rogers, also known as "Pa") Nellie's mother and father were Columbus Walter Todd {(Margaret Caroline Edge was his mother and William Byron Todd was his father)} and Margaret Marquilla Baker (Maggie) Her parents were Hugh Green Baker and Sarah Elizabeth Wood. Maggie was related to some Gordons. My daddy, Henry M. McCracken, was a descendant of Colemans, McCrackens, and others in and around Picken's County, Al. I think that we may be looking for some of the same folks. Hope to hear from you again, Carolyn McCracken Davis Wayne <[email protected]> wrote: Mary, I have some Funderburks in my line.
