I guess it is dependent on what you consider Splunge. In Splunge proper -- it would be only the one grave at the old school. On the other hand the Lann Cemetery is only a few miles away, so I would think it would be close enough to count as Splunge. Greg > > From: "Anne S. Anne, Several years ago a "Welcome to Splunge" sign was placed west of Weaver's Creek on the Hatley-Detroit Rd. If one considers that spot to be the western-most reaches of "Greater" Splunge, then Stockton Cemetery and Smith Cemetery would both be counted as Splunge cemeteries. I personally consider Crenshaw Cemetery to be another of the Splunge graveyards (although I'm sure some of the folks in Greenwood Springs considers it theirs). And as you travel east and northeast of Splunge, there are numerous other cemeteries that probably would be included as within the "Greater Splunge" area. But Greg is 100% correct --- it depends on what is considered Splunge! Good luck. Thank you Greg, I have never been in Splunge, but hope to go there someday to search that cemetery.
