    3. I replied privately but I see a need to respond to the list on this. Mother Monroe was largely a reprint of Dr. Evans articles pertaining to the history of Monroe County that were published in the mid-1930s through a regular newspaper feature. This book has been recently republished and if you scroll down the page http://www.rootsweb.com/~msmonro2/whatsnew.html you will see information regarding its availability. The other book was a heritage book publication. A committee of persons, mostly from the historical society, gathered a large number of articles dealing with people, places, etc. As has been explained, this title is no longer available and is hard to come by.
