Raines family: Dolores, there is no family bio on the Raines in the book. However, I do know the family was early and important to Monroe Co. If you haven't checked ancestry, Google, or something. There is more out there for you. You might also check Itawamba and Lowndes Counties and across the AL line. Start with AL and back through the Carolinas. (JUST my thoughts and the path I would take) Included with the Jesse Ramage family info. Pearl Raines was the second wife of Limogus Moja Ramage ((1874-1940).
