I do research here in Monroe County and started working on this Black family in late winter, '07. Just this past May, the fellow I had been working for actually came to Monroe from his home in FL. so I could take him around the county to old homeplaces, cemeteries, etc. He will be overjoyed with the knowledge that this letter exists! I will forward your message to him so that he might get in touch with you.
