Robin, thanks for sharing that information! We sometimes forget the maternal lineage is also important. My husband is an Irvin descendant (Thomas, son of Rigdon). I encountered the Edge family while working on my husband's Cummings line. Earnest F. and Trudie Addington Cummings had a daughter, Inez, born 7 May 1916. She married Thomas J. Edge. They both died here in Monroe Co. in 1988. I never knew anything about Mr. Edge's family. Do you recognize his name as being in your family?
