    1. Cemetery List for Monroe Co. and Newspaper Holdings
    2. Robin Linn
    3. Hello all, Below are some Monroe Co record holdings held at the MS Dept of Archives & History in Jackson, MS as well as their hours and address. This index information is available on their website, but the actual records are not. It requires a visit to their research room to view the records or microfilm. The first information is a listing of cemeteries in Monroe County. The second index is for newspapers that served the Monroe area. My interest is in the 1840 to 1870 time period so that is the time period this list covers. If you are interested in a different time period, you can go to their website, click on electronic records, click on the records you want to access and fill in the appropriate dates in the search form. At the very bottom of this email are their hours, etc. Robin The numbers after the name of the cemetery are the call letters.
