    3. Jim, The url or permalink to each article has to be copied exactly as it appears in order to work (that is why it is easier to cut and paste rather than make a mistake). You are probably typing the blog name correctly but missing the url --- if you look closely, you will see that although the blog is called Hill Country of Monroe County, Mississippi the url is http://hillcountryofmonroecountry.blogspot.com/ --- putting an "r" in county makes the url "work" so spell it as hill country of monroe country if you are typing the url rather than doing a cut/n/paste. [It was a case of fumble fingers at work in setting up the original blog url --- so I am just going to live with it.] Terry Thornton ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Allen" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, September 07, 2007 8:10 PM Subject: Re: [MSMONROE] (no subject) > Thanks Terry for the information. 3. Thanks Terry for the information. I'm interested in the Hill country of Monroe County as there are some Hollingsworths listed in the Terrell ledger. I attempted to share that info with other Hollingsworth researchers and had much difficulty with the URL. Finally, I suggested they Google Quincy, MS., and go from there. Could you refine the URL or correct it so it will function?? I was waiting for someone to reveal themselves so t the URL can be corrected. I hope you are the one. Thanks again. 3. Jim, Dr. E.D. Boozer of Splunge attended my greatgrandmother, Nancy Jane Lay Thornton, in her final illness in 1918 in Weaver's Creek Bottom [between Parham and Splunge]. He made several house calls ($2 per visit) and sent medicine several times ($1 each). His bill/receipt signed by him was in her pension file --- I'm using that receipt Monday night at a talk in Vernon that I'm doing for the historical society. One day next week I hope to publish that bill/receipt from Dr. Boozer on the blog, Hill Country of Monroe County, Mississippi. Thanks for the information about the medical group of Boozers. 2. would be interested in Doug Allen ,my dad named me but he died when I was 12 .I have always wondered about my name as his middle name was Allen and my God father was General Terry Allen. my Middle name is Allen . Never knew were the Douglas came from as there was no one named Douglas in family or friends and I know I was not named for Douglas McAuthur as both of them despised the General . Could this be were Douglas came from. My father was Loyce Allen Braden born 1919 in Ratliff, grew up in Itawamba Co.
