My ggrandfather, Barlette Hilliard Bailey lived for a time in Marshall County. He may have had a brother Lewis Bailey and a brother John Bailey. Any info on the Baielys would be greatly appreciated.
Check Giles County, TN and Warren County, KY. Richard Bailey married 1807 in Warren County, KY to Elizabeth Melton. This family was in Giles County, TN by 1830's, 1840's.... Very possible some of Richard's children may have gone into Mississippi, as Richard's wife's brother in law, John Grisham (married Judith Melton 1804 Warren County, KY) went to Tishomingo County, MS between 1830 and 1840. John Grisham was the brother of my ggg grandfather Thomas Grisham who died 1838 Giles County, TN. Thomas's widow Lucy (Foster) Grisham went to Tishomingo County, MS in 1850. Hope this helps..
