On the 1840 census, the following two Dotson's (presumably brothers) appear: Isaac Dotson: ------------------- 1 male 15-20 1 male 20-30 1 female 10-15 1 female 20-30 1 female 60-70 Josiah Dodson --------------------- 1 male under 5 2 males 5-10 1 male 30-40 1 female 30-40 In later years, the last name changed to Dodson and there were many descendants who were in both Marshall and Panola Co. I look forward to hearing from unknown "cousins"! Thanks
