Wilson who married Hugh Golightly both of whom are buried in Madison Co., AL--2 known children, Robert Hugh Golightly b/1822 and Emily W. Golightly b/Dec 1825 married Umphrey M. Campbell---- Now to further complicate things Shemuel Wilson's wife, Parthenia Eddins had a sister, Sarah Leah Eddins who married James Golightly--I have nothing on them other than they married--- About 1838, Shemuel Wilson and Parthenia Eddins Wilson migrated frm AL to Marshall Co., MS--- Shemuel died in Marshall Co., MS July 1855 and his wife, Parthenia was still living in 1860 as she is listed in the HH of son Robert Wilson--No futher info on her------ In closing one final item that might connect----Parthenia Eddins Wilson also had a brother, Benjamin Franklin Eddins who also came to Marshall Co., MS some time after his sister and her husband came. Marshall County court documents indicate the following: The following from "Marshall County Mississippi Probate and Will Records" compiled by Betty Wiltshire PG51 Nov. 25, 1845------Benjamin F. Eddins representing that he is a relative of James Golightly, a resident of this county and an insane man incompetant to attend his affairs, requests a writ of lunacy. Dec. 22, 1845----Request by Benjamin F. Eddens for an inquest concerning the lunacy of James Golightly. Court determined James Golightly was non compesmentis and "totally unqualified and incompetent to take care of his estate." Benjamin F. Eddens was appointed his guardian. ----- I believe this James Golightly is possibly the husband of Sarah Leah Eddins, sister of Benjamin and Parthenia Eddins-- Could he possibly be the father or even brother of your Parthenia Golightly????
