Surnames: Jones, Coleman, Benton, Parker Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/HKB.2ACI/1753.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi Berta, My James Jones was the son of Wyatt Hawkins Jones born 1822 in NC and Mary Cornelia Jones born 1829/1831 (different census give diff dates but I'm leaning towards 1831) in TN. I found them in 1850 DeSoto Co census and later in Marshall Co where they settled. They lived and died in the Wallhill Community which is between Independence and Holly Springs. We found the cemetery where several family members are buried. It is on private property which has now been designated as a historical cemetery thanks to my cousin. It was on their original home place in Wallhill. Do we have a connection? Sandra
