I just recently learned last week from a death certificate that my ggg-grandmother's maiden name was Briscoe. So this surname is basically new for me. I am trying to see if she may have been linked to Notley Warren Briscoe or James Warren Briscoe in Marshall County. My ggg-grandmother was born in TN about 1826. She lived in Tate County. Her name was Margaret.
