He was in Northern Division 1850 census age 22 b TN. I was told that he married Julia Ruff, daughter of Benjamin Ruff. However, I am unable to confirm that. I sent a request to the Marshall County site for a copy of her marriage, but they were unable to find a marriage to Rufus Runnels. I did obtain a copy of Julia's marriage to John Rogers in January 9, 1965 in Marshall County. If anyone runs acroos any info about Rufus Runnels, please contact me. Thanks, Marie
