    1. Missing areas in 1850

    3. Yes, I, too, have several families missing in 1850, the only census on which my great-grandmother would have been with her family. She married in 1853. I have read that census line by line several times, and they just aren't there. John H. Tabor (Tabour in 1840), wife Nancy, and children. There are about eight neighbors in 1840 who are missing totally in 1850. Southern Division of Marshall County, Joseph Mosby's division, in 1840 shows Hugh Pipkin, Edw. C. Owen, John Keelv (?), J.R. Jones, J.H.H. McRie, Sam'l Stokes, and James Porter, neighbors who cannot be found on the 1850 census. The Tabors are back on the 1860 census, Holly Springs, page 1, family 2. I've checked bordering Tennessee counties, MS counties, and they just are not there that I can find. They were buying and selling property during this time. If anyone can help, I'd be so grateful.
