She Married James Dudley Gardner. My Grand- father was C.D. Gibbons Gardner. Jarrett and Susan married March 4, 1886. They had eight children. Susan's full name was Temperance Susan Scott. She is buried at the Carey Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. She married first to James Tharp and later to Jarrett Kelly. I have information on the Gardners but very little on the Kellys. An old letter written by a decendent of the Lcokhart family said the Lockharts, Edwards and Kellys came to Mississippi together from North Carolina.
