She was the widow of Prentis SHAW and a member of Ellendale TN Baptist Church. Services were held at 2 pm on Thursday, December 15 in the Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jim Witherington officiated. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery. She leaves two sons, Leslie SHAW of Waterford and Kenneth SHAW of Holly Springs; seven daughters, Mrs. Louise CLANTON of Potts Camp, Mrs. Peggy GODSEY of Florence AL, Mrs. Betty KAZEMBA of Colliersville, Mrs. Helen REECE of Holly Springs, Mrs. Evelyn BURTON of Ellendale, Mrs. Linda LOVELACE of Ashland, and Mrs. Elizabeth Ann STEPHENS of Tuscaloosa AL; her mother, Mrs. Mattie ROACH OWENS of Holly Springs; five brothers, Hubert OWENS of Chattanooga TN, Grover OWENS of Victoria, Walter OWENS, Jr. of Holly Springs, Travis OWENS of Houston TX, and Jessie OWENS of Baton Rouge LA; two sisters, Mrs. Vera DEMPSEY of Louisvil! le and Mrs. Vinnie BAILEY of Holly Springs; 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Keith REECE, Mike KAZEMBA, Mike CLANTON, Bobby CLANTON, Billy GODSEY, Dean RICE, J.J. GODSEY and Steven CLANTON. Honorary were Samuel SKELTON, Gene REECE, Jack BURTON, Darryl KAZEMBA, Wilburn CLANTON, Jimmy LOVELACE and John STEPHENS.
