Burial was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Jackie W. Fox was the officiating minister. Mr. Smith, who was 74, died on Sunday, February 18, 1968, at North Mississippi Hospital here after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cora SMITH of Holly Springs; four sons, Johnny SMITH, Ben William SMITH, and Floyd SMITH, all of Holly Springs, and B.P. SMITH of Whitehaven, TN; four daughters, Mrs. Spencer FIELDER of Dearing GA, Mrs. William DUNAWAY Jr. of Senatobia and Mrs. Woodrow ANDERSON and Mrs. Neil BAIN, both of Holly Springs; one sister, Mrs. Hunter OWENS of Marks, MS; 24 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
