The services were held at the Rosebud Church of Christ, at 4 p.m. with Minister Moss conducting the rites. Burial was in Powell cemetery, near Travis, with the Masonic lodge in charge, Nicholson of Rosebud directing. Mr. Cunningham was born at Bethleham, Miss., January 1, 1869. In 1890 he married Miss Rosa Lee Powell, in Mississippi, and the couple moved to Texas shortly after. He became a member of the Church of Christ in 1892. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Roper of Rosebud, and Mrs. Velma Johnson, of Lott; two sons, James and G.B., both of Lott; one sister, Mrs. Emma Powell of Travis; 20 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
